C210 rating
Hi,
Might be starting with Scenic Air over here. Does anyone have experience with getting a cessna 210 rating in Namibia? The two options I have now are; - Go to south africa and fly a few hours, do an exam with a DE who can take exams for SA and Namib (10000NAD) or - The long and costly way with West Air here in Windhuk (40000 NAD) Any other ideas? |
Pardon My Ignorance
Sorry, don't know about regs on your continent, but a type rating on a C210? How does your typing system work?
|
MKA742, Is that a username a sign of hope or do you work for MK already?
|
Thanks suitcaseman. Sounds like the normal, reasonable process with an extra layer of bureaucracy on top.
One more question. If someone with experience in about 30 different light twins and singles did a conversion or co-validation how would all those "time on type" logbook entries be converted? |
Neither Helldog.
Of course I wouldnt mind ending up there but I saw these beasts every day back home and I just love um, thats why! Btw I founf another DE and we are looking for a 210 in SA right now, most likely Rand. And I am hired with Scenic Air :} :ok: |
