Question 1 Time off runway in East London?

I know this happened a long time ago but I have never seen any thing published about it. Does anyone know what happened, if it ever did?

Nothing was published because they never actually went off the runway. It was a close call but they managed to vacate at the end into the taxiway.

It happened yesterday anyway! From the "Daily Dispatch" 2008/11/08:

"Passengers of 1 Time flight 1T 607 from East London to Cape Town were forced to disembark from the aircraft after it went off the runway moments before take of yesterday....

...the front wheel drifted off the runway onto the grass....

....80 km/h gust of wind...."

No injuries reported.
