Newbie wages in Tanzania
Greetings, all.
My first post. Be gentle.
Have been hunting high and low on the forum for info about salaries in Tanzania for a low-time van FO or 206 driver, and haven't found a great deal.
Would one of you kind souls be so good as to post a range here, or PM me?
I've got 350 hours, currently working on multi-IFR. Once I've got the multi rating, was hoping to land a first job in Arusha or thereabouts, then bring my wife and kids. Info about salaries would sure help us with the planning ...
Any help most welcome.
Cheers,
avroarrow

Hi
The Van is a single crew plane here so not much for a Van FO.
On 206 generally you would get about $500 US untill you are over 500 hours total time, $750 to 750 hours, $1000 to 1000 hours and $1500 to 1500 hours, which is when you would convert to the Van which pays about $2500 for a new convert.
Not sure what people are paying for senecca etc.
Best
