CPL License, "types"
Hi,
Finally got my South african ICAO CPL+IR license. When I look on page 5 under types is says: "Single piston engine aeroplanes having a maximum certificated mass of 2700kg or less as endorsed in pilots loggbook"
Now, shouldn't those 2700kg be 5700kg ??
/Sonny

haha..ok. Well but what if you do a Cessna Grand Caravan rating or something like that, will it go to 5700kg than as well? Because I'm pretty sure the caravan weights more than 2700kg, and one should be able to fly that one on the CPL =)

There are a number of single piston aircraft over 2700kg such as the single Otter and Air Tractor 301 that you should be able to fly immediately, without doing a twin or turbine rating. Somethings amiss
