The Kufuor family is grabbing every major business deal in Ghana leaving what for Ghanaians? The greed of the family has seen some key NPP members lashing out at the President.

On the streets, in chop bars, churches and at hospitals and in homes, Ghanaians are beginning to speak out against the property grabbing family but it seems their complaint is falling on deaf ears as the family continues its property grabbing unabated. More later.

service daily to London is still being reviewed. G0 have daily slots to LHR and LGW. G0 need to determine which market will better serve us and our partners.
If the UK grants certain considerations to a UK carrier G0 may do both. One on Oct 29 the other starting March 15 2006 with double daily service an AM and PM departure.

Service to the USA should be announced later this week to commence on Oct 29. (Service will be with a B763 with 228 seats) (Believed to come from ET ADD-ACC-USA???)

Service to Lagos should be announced mid week to commence next week.

Codeshare flights are due to commence Aug 1 and should be announced late this week to mid next week. (ADD-ACC looks like an option to me)
Unconfirmed source is that Virgin Altantic looking to fly LON-ACC

Service to Europe will commence Oct 29 and be announced next week.(Initially 752 with 2 classes 170 seats, then 763 with 228 seats)

The opening of the new offices at Silver Star Tower is scheduled to occur Aug 15.

BUT, ask yourself this - why is it that a group of Mormons raised a bit of money, and put two guys - AC Vitale and Sean Mendis (who are not Mormons - I grant you) in charge of setting up operations for a major airline - when neither of them have ANY experience!!!

Danny Fyne registered and posted on both to rebut some of the nonsense Sean Mendis was spouting. Sean Mendis 'acute" business acumen is such that he even stated on various internet forums that he "vetted" NDR's business plan for buying those DL L1011s and pronounced them as sound plans!!!

Also, if Sean Mendis is so busy setting up an airline in Africa, and drinking plenty of beer in ACC, he has plenty of time playing moderator on Flyertalk.com, getting repeatedly banned on airliners.net for antagonizing people, and running his own airwhiners.net forum for teenage aviation anoraks to post abusive language? When was the last time you saw a Special Asst to the CEO posting so prolifically on Internet bulletin boards - espp one that is so late starting ops compared to earlier promises?

Gunship mate, my information in that post turned out to be bull**** and I'll admit that. The guy who provided it tried to feed me some other crap that I knew was not true and that made me doubt all of it. Can't trust these ex-Ghana Airways boys now it seems they all have chips on their shoulders against GIA. Are you the guy at KIA who does the stuff for FJE and AEU? How are you linked to Mendis? I hear he has been seen with you a lot at the gates.

InitRef, I read the stuff Mendis posts at airliners and he is definitely more competent than most of the kiddies that frequent that joint. His taste in friends is another story but at least he was open about it. Gunship is right, if you want to start unveiling people don't hide behind your own username.

jac - I am not unveiling people - Information about Mendis is public domain on various internet bulletin boards and posted by him - so I am not spreading anything that is either unverifiable or inaccurate.

As such I don't see any problem posting anonymously.

How do you define Mendis as "competent"? That he has a lot of knowledge of Air India operations from his cabin crew parents? detail knowledge of Frequent flyer programs that he is a member of? Anorak-level interest in schedules and route authorities that are also either public domain - or available through GDS?
Yes - definitely.

But competent airline executive with ANY experience in scheduled carrier ops? No.
Same for AC Vitale.

As previously discussed I am linked to Mr Sean Mendis to the mutual liking of beer.

Since day one he told me that we will not be doing business together and that is fine.
