Question Ozmate wannabee F/O with SAA

Gday,

I have in excess of minimum FO requirements SAA are requesting. Half my family was born in SA, however, most have relinquished their passports/citizenship entitlements (I'm not sure if this would affect my chances of employment?)

I gather it wouldn't be too difficult to obtain a working clearance... Should an opportunity arrise, would it be sensible to relocate to South Africa?

The reason I'm looking to move is due to the slow rate of porgression from GA to Airlines in Australia.

Thanks for you'r suggestions.

Unless you are a black women , with lesbian tendancies and have a half jew and half indian parent (converted to Islam) it will not make any differance how may family members have passports.

If you have enough time for SAA you will also have enough time for Jet Star , Virgin Blue and Cathay, if you have enough jet time you might even have enough time for the airlines in the middle east...at least there you you can be a straight white male

Join the queue matey . There are enough guys with SA licences with sufficient time, needless to say jet time that prostitute themselves daily for an embarrassing salary waiting for a call from the skygods. The less said the better I dare say.

JBAYFAN, have you been reading the posts on SAA wannaby...maybe not. If you do read it you will find that apart from my sarcastic slant, I'm not that far off the mark.

philby737, no need to get angry mateY!!
I put up a post, requesting simple suggestions, not criticism! As to people waiting for jobs with minimum quals - no different to Australia. That's why I'm looking to get out.. never hurts to try and obtain as much info' as possible prior to moving!!

Anyhow, i get the general state of SAA employment - never hurts to apply whether your local, black, white etc etc.......

good luck to all of you.

Frogman, could not have said it better myself! Bravo! Got tired of the politically correct ways of the aviation industry in SA - now just a normal beer drinking, female loving boertjie living in the sand!
