Depends on experience, low timer a C208, 1000 hrs plus a B200 or 1900D

I think B200Drvr has pretty much summed it up on the turbine front. With these a/c on your licence and some experience you shouldn't have a problem getting a job.

And on the piston front.....C210 and C206 is the way to go!!

Yip, that is all true. Having those three aircraft on that little paper will be the way to go up in Dark Africa. Been there, done that, from 210 to 208.

But easier said than done! No problem getting those on the licence, the hard part is actually getting the chance to go and use those ratings!

Happy Landings

Wasup Beechdrivr,

How it going in The Sahara or you visiting the Island ladies again ?

Still sucks here, 30min legs with big mountains and crap weather..

Reckon the best A/C to have on your license is Jabaroo or Piper Cub, when youve got a decent job in South Africa (doctor, architect etc.), not getting underpaid and flying over Hartebeespoort dam on the weekend for fun...

Hey Zoltan.

Yeah back in the Sahara suffering all the way. Unfortunately no island excursions for me right now......mmmmm how i wish i was there!!! Back in 2 weeks, when do you get back from E Ginuea? Will have to have a few cold ones!

Well Arrow, if you have the rating best you start knocking on some doors, there are quite a few operators looking for guys with B190 & 200's on their licences.... even if you have a few hours on them, give it a try, you'll be surprised.

Anyways, back to crying myself to sleep in darkest Africa!!
