Cool Inter Air / Jet Crews

They strike again Gentleman, and Beware.

Inter Air is now advertising on climbto350 for Captains & First Officers on the 727 & 737 under the name of Jet Crews. Salary $3000 and F/O $1600.

Captain salary has gone down $1000 since last post.

Check the address used on the Inter Air listings and Jet Crew listings on the climto350 website. Its the same......

This is the kind of devious behavior you will be contending with...

Good luck.

Its what you would expect from that bunch

But as you will be aware flyng skills not required just the ability to do as told and don't question. So I suppose $1000 less for someone who cant think for themselves isnt a bad deal

But hey dont forget the $10/day snt for the rat whole in COO - it makes you the envy of the air france crew($100 +) when down at the pool

Saw the ad for 727 captain @ pitiful pay. So, the question is: will they get takers at that rate of pay...and who are they that they accept such pay ?

As an outsider, I'd be interested to know how these job postings turn out. It's hard to believe anyone would take that payrate.

the crew they tend to employ of recent times have been from eastern africa and a few from zim and zam-dont know how many of the good guys are left if any. but if you think the salary is bad wait to you see the training budget-wonder if everyone is still flying on a swazi validation or is it leotho now
if theres a short cut that will save 2 bucks you can bet your bottom $ they will take it
thats one rose full of magots

sayswho,

So, from your knowledge, there are actually people lining up to take this job ? This company will have no trouble finding current, experienced, qualified 727 captains ?

I guess StElmo aka Chris B. is a bit disgrunted. I think you need to focus more on your own instead of talking sh*t about Interair. If the company is paying 3 or 4000$ per month for a captain, it's their problem and up to the individual to either take the job or not. For the amount of work we do, I think we're actually paid very fair.

Talking

You are so entertaining. How many other names do you log in under to chat to yourself ?

Seems a lepoard never changes its spots,...

Wise men can think for themselves. as you may read.

With so many people actually lining up to take the job why you so disgrutled on this forum ?

Sorry I flunked my PF, "twice". If you could enlighten me what that is, could I come re-test with you. I think it a bit un-professional to be flying without one.

How many more have/are you going to stab in the back, to do a favour for ? Mentality

Hey , accept my apologies. Its a great place to work, very professional, great aeries, great maintainance, great destinations and great career prospects.

Hmmm, confused, then why did over 10 Cockpit crew, 3 Ops staff, Ops manager, Ground staff, Engineers, majority of Cabin crew etc resign ? Ooh, they must have flunked their PF checks. or were they the better ones.

Beer is yukkie, mind if I have a "Skotsie" ?

Wink

well StElmo
I Agree with when you say we lost a alot of good crew. most of them at least < but you know that.
Ops staff . Well dont what you talking about there.
Ops manager that left is a great guy and a very good skipper.
but you also know that. maybe he will come back some day!!!

most the ground engineers are still here. even some came back after going to Nationwide.

As for stabing people in the back. well << some of them stabed me in the back. or dont you remember.

We may not be the best or fly to the best places. but we try.
I would also like to know what a PF check is.
By the way, iam not the cheekyman. but i would like to know who he is.
Take care and happy landings

Well, Gentlemen, I can't say this discourse would make me want to rush right out and work for this company for $3K/mo. This all seems to indicate a fair amount of internal discord.

When all is said and done, I still don't feel I know the entire story about this company. And, it would probably be an interesting story.

And to the rest of you - no you not the best and you certainly dont go to the best places as for "at least we try" give up trying there's no one left who cares, you've stabbed so many people in the back that its habbit.
But let me take this oppertunity now to thank you for I can honestly say I have been around by the pro's - so now wherever I fly its so ing easy and hey I GET PAID A SALARY!!!!!!!

Yes I fit right in there. Obviously you didn't read what I posted. I said for the amount of work we do, I think we get paid very well. What's wrong with sitting by the pool, getting 51.500CFA's (100 $) for 2 days in the hotel, to be used for what you want, ie a couple of longnecks by the pool and getting 80rand SNT? The 51.500 is not cash, but you sign for meals/drinks in the hotel.

Interiar is not Air France, Interair doesn't operate heavy equipment worldwide, making reasonable good profits, therefore able to pay crews 100$ and high paid salaries, which is a must in the ever getting more expensive Europe. Please don't even try to compair Interair with Air France, or South Africa to Europe.

As I posted before, don't apply for Interair if you think the salary is low, it's up to each individual to take the job or not.
