Red face

This is beginning to be a pretty funny thread. I worked for this bunch some time ago and all is not perfect but better than most. I think the salaries spoken about are nett instead of gross. Big difference. GUNS you should know this too. Yours was much higher as I recall. ouch!

Hey St Elmo

I'll agree with you about the hosties....'''mmmmmmhhhmmmmm"

but dont laugh toooooooo lastly, Nationwide is only about $1542.59 per month for a co-joe and I wont embarrass the Capts here.

What I am trying to say is the pay allround is TOOOOO %$#!@#$$ low for the job they doing. There is squat difference between what a Nationwide pilot does versus a Spoories pilot and they all know it.

Thank God for the hosties...my favorite is defineatley

boeing737jock full of crap

it seems to me that not everyone knows what airlines in south africa pay!!!!!!

Nationwide and Interair pay about the same at the end of the month. And at Nationwide you work twice as hard. At Interair you lucky if you work 12 days a month. CANT SAY THAT ABOUT NATIONWIDE.

All you people that put down Interair have no ideal what your talking about.

get a life bud .

We all wish we could make more money flying. buts getting rich is not why we became pilot is it?

BY THE WAY ,,,, THE GIRLS AT INTERAIR ARE THE SEXIEST IN SOUTH AFRICA!!!!!!!!!!!

just to let you know yes there are alot of expat working at inter air. MUCH BETTER THAN SA PILOTS I MAY SAY.

you take many SA piolot out of africa and they are lost.

four engine jock = three engine switch flicker..

At Nationwide you fly twice as much, which is what pilots do.
We have 737-300's and a 767 and getting 2 more 76's. Some thing to work towards.

Aircraft are by far in better condition.

You still think you are a pilot.... Wishfull. Flighty's are a dying breed.

A life I have , you should invest in one yourself , its great.

As for the hosties, like Cuban cigars, you like them Big or Brown.

If its money you want guys, look at 1 Time.
They fly DC9's and MD 80's. Lots of flying and lots of money.

BA/Comair, very professional...Good Career.

Good luck chaps...

And this is the type of people you will be working with at Inter, for $1500 a month, and $10 per flying day. At 12days work a month that's a Grand $120. Whoo hoo, lets go shopping...

I became a pilot to fly. Always tried to get the best deal but being in the air was the important thing. Interair was OK. I found a better deal after a few years and some good experience and moved on. It's sad some of you are just nit-pickers. I'll donate a "k" for you so you can just knit and pick your TV stations. Enjoy your rocking chair. I'd rather fly.

"Ja Julle"

Interesting reading. A lot of truth spoken here.

Hey , I worked at Inter for many years. Did it all (exept the 7 nothing 7). Had a grr8t time.

Inter Air in the beginning was a fantastic company. Went through many ownership changes. Sadly it is not the same. Thats why so many people left, even the Ops manager. Great loss. This tells you about a company.

To many " Self Appointed " Chief's and not enough Indian's at the moment.

As for the salary..... Check out climbto350 , Captain 727 $4000pm. It seems this forum helped. Its great that the guys are not going to accept low pay. Well done ! ! !

Thats why we became drivers, to fly and make chellos"

Hey , the fluff fleet is great and the training is tops, if Captain BW is still there. 727

As for the "Cheeky man" BEWARE...You WILL get stabbed in the back...Have the scars to prove it.

And DPT, just add extra salt....
