206 perfs in TZ

A small technical question, Helldog, 406pilot, you may help me as both of you have flewn these there. I have a bit of a conversation going on with a dude, regarding the perfs of the 206 turbo at 13,500. The last TC 206 I touched was EMK and I don't remember very well. Helldog, you must have flown on EMK too, you'll know:

what's the max mp indication you'd get? 24/25 inches is what I recall. But I am told it should be 35 inches, which is really hard for me to believe. Even if the engine is turbo-charged, isn't the mp not going down with altitude?
I know that the principal of the turbo is too keep max power to a certain height, but I think that past 11000', the mp use to settle at 24".

Help
Asante

hey there shenzi...
in case you have forgotten, "information is money in these parts of the world" so if your willing to pay i can send you my banking details and then we talk...he he
anyway let me see if i remeber,as you know i havent flown in the states,so i dont know wht sort of documents have to be onboard the aircraft at all times, down here we gotta carry that little book called the p.o.h(pilots operating handbook) and if you look through there under the perfomance section im sure you wont miss it.

keep it up there

Asante njogos! Sorry 46pilot, forgot you were flying the defunct TEA (what a great machine. RIP) before me. Tell me about the 3000 max power ceiling, climbing to 12500 was a real mission - had time to go through two Playboy mags during the climb.

Helldog thanks, that's what I remembered, 24" on the MP. 35" at 12500 would have been cool, wow.

well shenzi,

still waiting for your PM mate. Come on, I want to know if I owe you a big apology or if you owe me one bwana.

Its not such a huge deal I suppose, but if I was right I will be expecting that apology and where the info has gone.

By the way yes it should be kept on the PMs and between you and I. Come on mate tell me what the hell is going on.

406- you gossip queen, your going to have to sit this one out ol' bud. Use your time to study for the sim tiger.

Helldog, I don't know what's happening with your inbox dude, but I have sent you a reply right away, then a second later that that after thinking further about it.
Now, it is boring that I have to write it all over again. I have cooled down a lot and it won't be the same.
I'll check if there's a way to get back the pm that were sent as I don't think that we have a "sent item" or "outbox" on Pprune. But dude, your pm was way out of line. You will need better info or a cleared picture of the facts next time you attack someone.
