From "FFFRENTIT" 4th March.....
This gets me back to my pet hate - aviation employers abusing pilots. A company like EA does not suddenly find itself in financial trouble overnight - so why only inform your crew a day or two before payday that you can't pay them? A considerate employer would have given his staff a bit of warning to tighten their belts because there may not be money at the end of the month. It would be interesting to find out if KR also did not pay himself / family / top managers this month.
I'll bet KR is still expecting all his crew to be available to him, just in case he picks up a last minute charter flight or two. He probably also expects two months notice from anyone wanting to leave, so that they can earn a bit of cash elsewhere.

FFFrentit has actually put it nicely in a nutshell , speaking to some of the guys there, even mildly at that …
Would I be a cynic to suppose that FFFrentit and Maximus 747 have an extremely close relationship ????

Maximus/FFFrentit
Now one of my pet hates......those pilots who always ascribe bad motives to management in aviation.....particularly when they dont appear to be directly involved. From my experience its most times just not that simple.....this does not work like a little business model that you use at school where you always know in advance what is going to happen....... what you are going to receive and when you are going to receive it. Often its a moving target. So before you jump on your self righteous white stallion and go charging out on a crusade (that may not even be your business in the first place) why not slow down and find the facts.
If you are directly involved then have some goens and go talk to the man and sort it out face to face instead of making anon. posts

Whilst everybody likes a bit of humour now and then, I think that this is kind of off the point. Rumour has it guys have still not been paid, thats the serious side to this. Or maybe earning doulble figure salaries a month means you cant relate!

Humour?
Where's the humour?
To get back to the original rumours - is EA on the way out, can anyone confirm whether people are not being paid? If not I believe safety issues could be at stake.
With no money in the company, maintenance could also be affected. This means passenger safety could be compromised.....not to mention aircrews.

MungoP - you are right and wrong!
Right - You are being a cynic.
Wrong - Maximus 747 and I do not know each other.
Don't try and read anything into the fact that we may agree with each other - it's a waste of your time!

Executive Aerospace
Not sure if this is fact but the IS a rumor network...
Heard today that the CAA inspection of Aerospace didn't go too well and the AMO has had it's licence temporarily frozen. As a result apparently the a/c in the Comores was recalled to SA or grounded.
Looks like the woes continue, wonder if everyone has been paid yet?
This is great pity because Exec is an awesome company and has given many a guy a big break in aviation.
Would anyone in the know care to shed some light on this?

Some have been paid, but there is big problems in the EA camp... And now with this latest amo closing down, heaven only knows... IMHO there will be hangar space available @ FAJS pretty soon... I Feel very very sorry for the good people thats going down with them, because there are a couple of stars out there
We can only hope these guys will come right, as someone said in another thread these guys have kick started many an aviation career and it will be a very sad day when these boys go belly up. Especially for the couple of guys on flightline thats been there for more than a year and still hasn't touched the stick in a 748...

Word out is that there will be no payment of salaries again this month.
I can only hope and wish the best for the guys for the future. I hope the industry will remenmber that it is the guys who have been at the coalface ie. pilots, cabincrew, flightline that have established the reputation that is being referred to. And they have done so sometimes in the face of adversity and utmost professionalism for the love of flying.
These are the true heros in this saga . Good luck guys
