Based on the video I would say we'll done to the crew. Landing was smooth and controlled

What is the protuberance under the nose in the landing shadow in the post #2 video? Nose gear doors? Seems too far forward.

Looks like nose landing gear doors to me. Perspective is changed by the sun angle.

Given the angle. Suspect a smattering of it on the Chute. wouldn’t go amiss.7

Pax advised to adopt brace position which all had done except for chappie playing the auteur. His partner's face indicates the very opposite of admiration.

Similar accident report here - https://www.fss.aero/accident-report...3-09-02-US.pdf

In that case the nose gear failed to extend because it was jammed by a damaged spray deflector. This image shows an undamaged spray deflector.

Well why not? People do lawsuits when skiing down easy slopes and take out others! It's 2023 after all and everyone is accountable ..🤭! Ya don't board expecting this experience...😁🤭🤔🫣

Another one here - https://www.fss.aero/accident-report...08-09-2-US.pdf

Also caused by a damaged spray deflector.

“A postaccident examination of the nose landing gear system revealed a fractured upper lock link. Due to the fractured upper lock link, the lower lock link was free to swing down to a vertical position and made contact with the nose landing gear assembly and thereby restricted its movement.”

Well that's an interesting failure mode. Even if they could have extended the gear it would likely have collapsed as soon as it was loaded. I hope the final report comes up with some explanation of the cause.
