“How the West was lost” to what or whom? Are we talking about the private or public sectors, or both? Agree that corporate greed is a problem, if that’s what you meant, but if you believe in the free market economy (which I do) then the ship will right itself as corporations realize it actually COSTS them money to disenfranchise employees, especially those with specialized skill sets. For example, I’m guessing Google compensates and treats its software engineers a bit differently than its janitors, but I don’t really know for sure.
