Ahh but thats the thing...I don't have a Dynon GPS nor a Dynon Transponder.
My VFR navigation is primarily visual and 'backed up' with 2 iPads and an iPad mini all running OzRunways.
For somebody like me, and I'm guessing there are many in a similar position, the additional costs they are talking about (as specified in the table in the consultation paper) do not come with a demonstrated, significantly increased safety benefit.
As an aside, I do also have a Zaon PCAS which has greatly assisted my 'alerted see and avoid' on quite a few occasions. Similarly, I find the aircraft traffic paints on the OzRunways map display very useful as well. Its just a shame we can't collate all the traffic information together in one place at an affordable price!
