Assuming you have an NPPL(A) I think you just need to do 10 hours PIC and then you can apply for your LAPL(A) under "grandfather rights" - it's a quick paperwork excersize.

Thanks Gordon. Yes .. well I have an NPPL (UK) with SLMG and SSEA ratings. So I can fly on my NPPL until April inc passengers. However want to get LAPL sorted in good time and whilst I have 10 hours for passenger carrying I don't at present meet currency so couldn't fly under LAPL until 12 hours in preceding 24 months and maintain this check before every flight. Spoke with CAA yesterday and they said apply so assuming all OK. Ch Robert
