THUMPA do you know someting the rest of us don't? As the perennial drive to push costs down will inevitably impact on training, do you believe the current standards will prevail? Of course not!
Try engaging your brain before going off half cocked! The lack of good training in parts of Asia and Africa sees those two continents with the worst safety records on the planet. Just so happens many of those operators pay the lowest wages, thus attracting the lowest common demominator to the industry.
If it is disgraceful to draw comparisons with other proven failures, well I am sure as hell guilty, and do not apologise! If you want to bury your head in the sand, go for it! Many others are not quite so naive.
