KAKA, i got the extension email in the first week of August.
I speak to QF crew every day, and no-one can work out what order they take people from the shortlist. There are some people who have been on the shortlist for 15 months and haven't had the call, but when they opened the Perth base, some of the people that got in had their interviews the same time as us Nov/Dec, so just because you've been on the shortlist for 15 months, doesn't necessarily mean you would be the first to be called.
I know of two QF crew, they both had their interviews, but a year apart, and the person that had their interviews a year later got the call first. So, who knows how they do it??? It is possibly dependant upon the score in which you got at the end of the whole recruitment process?
I'll tell you what though, the day i get that call, i think i'll have a heart attack!!!!!!
ps-i've heard there's roughly only about 300 people on the shortlist, but that's a rumour?
