To me it's the choice element that makes a hero.
I agree.
This is not to say so as a reflection on the skill and fortitude of the crew, but a reflection on we who overuse/misuse the word hero.
The crew in this case should be proud of their response and the outcome - they justly deserve their actions to be recognised.
