Why not do it properly? Bone dome, medals, leg retrainst harness for the ejector seat, military spec. Chinagraph pencil and white paper in the leg pocket and so on. Dressing like this is all very well and good but why do it? It doesn't make you a better pilot, amongst pilots it makes you look ridiculous and deep down inside it I'm sure the wearer knows it's totally pretentious because they are the only knob wearing the clobber. But the worst part is that these people attract unnecessary attention to themselves and p!ss taking. It's sad.
