I admit to wearing a grow bag when I fly and for 3 reasons.no heater and 60 litres of plastic tanks 6 inches behind my arse.The grow bag pockets also hold so much more pilot needs like phone fags,lighter and wallet.I can't wear bars as they would put me over the 450kg weight limit.
There were an ultralight pilot who crashed here in QLD Australia that suffered severe burns whilst escaping the wreck only to die of thirst and injurys under a nearby tree about three days later.
Likely full flight coveralls and an Epirb in the pocket were all he needed to walk away and play another day...
