The next major decision for me is which exams to take. My primary aim is to instruct as I have to say I want to enjoy my flying.
However, quite a few airlines take staff from the pools of flying instructors and so here is the dilema.
I am looking at just doing CPL exams since it is unlikely I would have the funding to complete an IR within the 3 year time limit of the ATPL's. Hence I figure, the ATPL's would largely be wasted compared to my aims.
However, am I being too limiting here? Without ATPL's or IR exams, I cannot complete an IR to fly IFR and thus am limited to instruction, aerial photo's etc. The price difference is marginal at £300 or so, but the time difference is significant.
Ah, choices, choices,
Any wise words fellow prooners?
