I can't condone these actions but I do understand the frustration of residents. Anyone that knows Luton will realise that there is a paucity of residential parking in a lot of areas. Older terraced housing stock are without drives or garages and on street parking is limited. Parking controls would work but with control comes enforcement and LBC are tighter than a ducks arse when it comes to employing foot soldiers to issue tickets. Saying that, punters that have paid the equivelent of a round of drinks for their flight baulk at paying more to park up.
