The larger plan doesn't show how the buses and coaches will exit the coach station.
If it is assumed it will be similar to now then they have to move from the left lane to the right in a much shorter distance to get out of the way of cars heading for the drop off.
I really do pity the guy/ girl that turns up at peak and wants to get to the MSCP lane with possibly six lanes of drop off traffic and buses trying to get out.
Regarding the traffic light proposal, why not just use temporary ones similar to ones used for road works today for a one /two hour peak just to get the coaches across- manually operated if necessary!
It will be interesting to see it in use next year and how bad it gets but it will not be an improvement for sure.
So another four years of grief-- I will be heading to the mid term for drop off and apologise to the guys for the walk!
