I'll agree there's parts of Palmerston that could do with a little bit of urban redevelopment but I'm quite happy in my 5br, 2bathroom, elevated home, with Darwin city and harbour views along with unobstructed views from east through south to west (sunsets anyone?) and an 11m swimming pool with 3m waterfall.
(Did I mention its also next to a park?)
OK, so it takes a whole 20 minutes to get to Casuarina or the city on a slow day. At least I can avoid Bagot Rd.
