As you know, EK are limited to 250kts below 5000. So if we could keep somewhere between 300 and 320 to 5000, it would be good for the B777. Obviously if its bumpy we need to bring the speed back earlier to avoid filling the cabin with spew.. .The B777 has no problem with 180 to 6 and 160 to 4, most of the time. But there are occasions a huge tail wind is encountered down to 500' or so, when this is the case a slower speed would be nice.. .These are my opinions only and and I am sure you will get a lot of different answers to your question.
