Massive changes to the airport should start later this year.
A temporary drop off zone will be opened for March next year.
As already mentioned a few months ago by me, a second multi story car park is being proposed inside the CTA but it is now confirmed that it will contain a replacement drop off area to the one completed last week. Seeing that it will be on the ground floor it will have total weather protection.
A third multistory will be built in the mid term car park containing 1040 space consisting of a ground floor plus 3 further floors. Hope the ILS won’t be an issue this time. The completion date is would you believe January next year for this car park.
The ring road is being moved well away from parallel to taxiway Delta so no prizes for guessing where the next apron will appear.
