Don't know what to think. The photo above is taken from the service road that used to sit under the original taxi rank. The new build extends further out than the original excavation but there is a row of inner columns that sit close to the edge of the service road but not over it. I would not have thought the roof of the service road is supporting any of the weight of the terminal extension apart from the floor

What is more of a concern is that the final infill of the bus station still hasn't been started yet some 17 months after the buses moved out. I am thinking that the terminal is now way behind schedule but then it doesn't matter as the airports capacity won't actually increase even if it was finished as the new road network will remain the weak link. I doubt the CTA can actually handle any more traffic than it did last year so the CTA will set the airports capacity and not the terminal and the number of stands.
