Ever wonder what was the real reason the terminal extension was delayed? Every wondered why it's over budget?
As you can see there are massive steel supports "holding up" the terminal extension site.
This was never part of the plan, when they started drilling the foundations for the the extension all them months ago they found small cracks in the roof of the undercroft under the site. They rushed and surveyed the whole site and found that all the heavy machinery was putting to much pressure on the undercroft so they had to rush in to erect all these massive supports in case the site just collapsed with all the weight on it, unbelievable that this was first overlooked, classic luton I guess.
Well that's what come out of the rumour mill anyway, what do you all think?
