Buckle up, don't break the law!
UAE law will soon make seat belts compulsory, even for passengers in the back of vehicles. We’ve had instances of employees driving without wearing a seat belt. This is now a violation of our own company policy.
If you use vehicles at work, or take company transport, buckle up where applicable.
Studies show that wearing a seat belt increases your chance of surviving a road accident. If you don’t wear your belt, you could be thrown through the windscreen by the sheer force of the impact. Or if you’re in the back seat, you could also be thrown forward, injuring yourself and those in front.
Make sure you always buckle up to protect yourself, your family and your colleagues.
