The simple fact is that the powers to be at LTN have gone for sheer volume with little or no regard for any other aspect of the passenger experience (apart from obviously trying to extract the maximum return from retail floor space)
The bulk of the passengers using the airport are now reasonably young single's/couple's looking for cheap fares who can endure the LTN experience (crowds & lack of seating etc) Just about anyone else is justifiably horrified at what they find!
