Delta Taxiway Expansion
Something interesting was said today
When the new taxiway system starts construction the wide body aircraft will not be allowed down the delta taxiway due to the on going construction works
Assuming most of the works will be at night because we've heard that DHL will pull out of Luton for the duration of the works then come back after work has finished.
All their aircraft will be sent to Stansted where they're building a new hub, which had been in the works for some time.
Interesting times ahead for widebodys at Luton, would be interesting how the likes of ElAl, MNG and Thomson respond to this.
