This is how the departure lounge should look when it is finished. The red lines show the new build over the former bus station and the new expanded frontage.
The main differences to the existing departure lounge is the removal of a restricted access corridor that will allow a large bar and food retail outlet to provide seating behind existing retail units and that will overlook the eastern apron. The bar will occupy the former duty free shop. A new corridor has been built in the top right hand corner so allow access to pier B.

The walkway from the duty free shop to the existing departure lounge will be used to further increase the duty free shop when the route through the expanded departure lounge opens
