As you are an RAAus pilot, this site is designed to be your information resource.....so feel free to use it! The Ops and Tech Manuals can be downloaded from the site, should you need to look something up.
As to the Sling. It is probably a fine machine but in terms of numbers in the fleet, an outsider.
The industry work horse is Jabiru, and for good reason. Beyond that, Tecnam and Foxbat are also favoured by some school operators.
For what it's worth, I think you would benefit from gaining experience on a wide range of types.
