If everyone learns the interview questions parrot fashion and can fly the profile with their eyes shut, then what are we really getting?
Couldn't agree more, years ago I had the misfortune of line training a CTC graduate who appeared to have no flying aptitude whatsoever, when I asked him how he had prepared for the sim assessment he told me he had hired a defunct trident sim and under the tuition of it's owner, had practiced the assessment route for a week.
Amusingly, during the line training he complained that I was making too many notes in his training file, to which I replied "well if you wrote down a few notes yourself, I wouldn't have to!"
