Yes the bonus is unconditional of any performance/financial targets. It is a loyalty bonus linked with your length of employment.
For a 10 year captain and above the 15% equates to nearly 15K on top of your monthly salary which you will get at the end of your original start of employment month. Yes the bonus is subject to tax and own pension contribution.
