The MPT alignment will run from Stirling Place to the CTA passing over the existing highway and running on the curtilage of the airport airside operational area and through the existing midterm car park. Some spaces will be lost in this car park as a result of the MPT alignment.
This loss at mid-stay will be re-provided by a permanent Multi Storey car park in the central terminal area. In the interim a decked car park will also be provided that will accommodate any loss in spaces at mid-term until the Multi Storey in the Central Terminal Area is available.
There will be a loss of car parking in the Mid Term Car Park (MTCP) due to the route alignment. This loss is estimated to be in the region of 823 spaces which will be re-provided at the Mid Term Car Park via a temporary decking type solution. A permanent Multi Storey car park will be constructed in the central terminal area that will accommodate all these spaces as a long term solution. The temporary decking solution at Mid Term Car Park will be carried out under Permitted Development Rights. In summary, no spaces will be lost due to the MPT route alignment cutting through the Mid Term Car Park.
So the CTA is going to get a second multistory which I suspected when the new multistory was numbered 1
I guess it can't be built in the existing car park due to the ILS
Nothing about the drop off zone except there will be no loss of places
