With a report here that Luton could be handling 16 million passengers this year there is only 2 million of spare capacity left.
Yes I know Luton does not let customer experience, which is directly linked to the amount of passengers that passes through its doors from going above 18 million but the terminal, CTA, stands and taxiways can only take so much pressure. Also the little matter of just 62 check-in desks will start to restrain capacity soon for any airline that is looking to start a major operation out of Luton.
