I was audited by xxx tax authorities for a very short contract done few years ago. I provided all the docs given to me by the agency. All the issues raised by tax authorities were highlighted by me when we signed the contract... I had written confirmation from them that "all is good, sign here..." so, I was not hanged.
In the end what got to them were 2 things:
1-they applied for social security exemption when they should have not
2-they tried to lie their way out to the points raised by Xxx tax Authorities
Hefty fine and...my lawyer(incidentally my mother) was very happy.
