It is hard to work out how the airport decides on its car park pricing.

A weeks parking from tomorrow has the pricing in the following order.

£53.99 Long term
£64.99 Mid term
£81.99 Multistory
£86.99 Priority Multistory
£103.99 Short term

March 1st

£47.99 Long term
£57.99 Mid term
£66.99 Priority Multistory
£87.99 Multistory
£91.99 Short term

April 1st (school holidays)

£59.99 Long term
£71.99 Mid term
£86.99 Short term
£88.99 Priority Multistory
£91.99 Multistory

August 1st

£39.99 Long term
£71.99 Mid term
£86.99 Short term
£88.99 Priority Multistory
£91.99 Multistory

For tomorrow the multistory is the 3rd cheapest while the short term is the most expensive

In March Priority Parking becomes the 3rd cheapest, which is labour intensive and is £21 cheaper than the same multistory car park where people park their own cars.

In April the short term becomes the 3rd cheapest with the multistory becoming the most expensive, which is the same as August.

With the short term becoming the cheapest option inside the CTA when booked around 10 weeks or more in advance it might be one of the reasons why there is a lack of spaces for those that turn up on the day.

Also I would have thought that this would be the ideal time to finally resurface the short term car park but so far it seems to be still on the back burner and will no doubt be done during the summer peak.
