So we have a new drop off area that needs modifying before it is fully finished and a footbridge and lobbies that needs modifying when it is supposed to be finished. At least the multistory seems to be fine except no one is using it.
One has to question how the airport has got to this position. Painted floors and water was always going to be a problem for no other reason than it is a slip hazard that no one spotted at the airport before it opened.
One also has to question how a single lane drop off area that was designed with no passing places and 4 pedestrian crossings was going to be an improvement on 5 shorter lanes with traffic stopping barriers at the end. As can been seen over Christmas the queues were as long as ever.
One of those crossings is still fenced off and one has still to be built on the entry lane but the fenced off one suggests that someone is having second thoughts though even with only two in place the drop off area still does not work except in light traffic conditions.
Oh and the first pothole in the turning circle of the new bus station has appeared as coaches put on a full lock while stationary after reversing out of the bus bays before moving off.
