The photos are what I see every day. While the airport would say that the car park is going to be fixed the link to the terminal is the airports pride and joy and marks the first opening of new infrastructure. At each entrance there are slot drains that should prevent the floors from flooding but when the floor slopes in the wrong direction it isn't going to work.

Slot drains are not going to prevent muddy footprints which show up a treat on a light blue painted floor so it is clear no one has thought this through.

canberra97 comment that the airport should have been rebuilt from scratch is not practical although well intentioned, as the airport would need to close down for at least a couple of years and that was never going to happen.

So what we are left with is the airport claiming at the end of the summer that the worst was over but where traffic queues are still there at peak times, a new drop off zone that can't cope with traffic and a brand new bridge and walkway that is filthy beyond words and where lifts don't work for weeks at a time.

I think it is safe to say that the airport will be winning the Which award again for 2017 for the UK's worst passenger experience.
