As for the broken down lifts both the short term and multi story contain disabled parking bays with no alternative route to get to the terminal if the lifts are out of action. I have no idea how anyone who could not manage four flights of stairs would get to and from the terminal.
With the lifts still out of order after nearly a week the airport has taken some drastic action by ripping up their newly completed railings and re-opening the pedestrian crossing that crosses the approach road. From the short term car park there is no signage that the crossing has been opened again so many people are still having to climb the stairs with luggage.

I am thinking that management will be thinking twice before putting the railings back as the airport had no plan B for when the lifts are out of order. Got to say it is a complete shambles and poor management that no one had thought of what would happen when the lifts stopped working.
