While cars continue to have to park on the pavements in the short term car park due to a lack of spaces the new multistory, which was opened on Monday, only has a total of 17 cars parked in it over the 2 floors that are open to the general public.
With the car parks signposted as Long, Mid, Short and Multistory it seems that passengers have no idea what the multistory is being used for so don't use it when just turning up at the airport to pick up or for an extended drop off.
The ramp to the middle floor and above is coned off at the moment with access only for priority parking drivers.
