The most important thing in choosing a course is to make sure that it is being done properly and that you are getting ALL the grondschool. The schools that look too cheap may not give you much, if any, and getting a job afterwards may be difficult. Remember to check the reputation of the FIC instructor by asking around before you commit. You should be getting 125 hours ground school in a structured and supervised manner, not having a book thrown at you and being left to get on with it.
Also worth asking if they take on their trainees afterwards. There are jobs in instructing at the moment!!
