Im sure comparable rates to QF would be highly desired, but I imagine that would be highly unlikely as VA Captain and FO rates don't compare to QF either.
Littlebird your point about huge interest from this part of the world, and no doubt many VA crew is well taken, and is a problem VA will surely be facing when the legacy carriers start offering positions to those who are seeking them.
It remains to be seen what they will do to attempt to retain crews.
It's funny that QF threw the kitchen sink at VA as little as a few years ago in an attempt to grind them into the ground. I would have thought taking a couple of hundred of their pilots in one foul swoop would have done just as good a job in that regard??
