The new President-Elect of the US has indicated that he does not want to live in the White House, but prefers to stay in his downtown Manhattan residence.
I'm exploring the implications of this, should it come to pass, and one thing that occurs to me - although I haven't seen it discussed anywhere - is that the FAA will have to create a similar protection zone around it as currently operates around
Washington D.C.
Can anyone with operational experience of the two areas tell me what the implications will be for aviation in the NYC area?
