The new ground floor pre-boarding zones being built now on pier A will be for the eastern apron only and each zone will be a different size depending on how many pillars got filled in.
From the terminal out the infill was for 3, 5 and 1 pillar for 4, 6 and 2 gaps either side of the pillars being filled in. The plans only show 2 pre boarding zones as the infill at the far end is small. There are still not enough pre- boarding zones even allowing for the potential mini one unless they utilize the extra space gained from the upstairs infill to put a couple up there which I doubt will happen.
As for the Northern side of the pier that is just gaining an extra gate and no more.
