The ONLY way I would consider an integrated program over modular is if I lived rent free within daily driving distance of the facility AND they did ALL the flying from that airport.

Now lets say you sign up at Oxford. Even if you still live with your parents they will ship you off to Arizona to do the main part of your flying. This all adds to the cost. Bournemouth I believe sends you to Florida. So really, what's the point. Why not just go do it on your own. That way if you get tired of them, or they get tired of you. You can move on and try somewhere else. There is nothing worse than being stuck with a place that doesn't work for you.

Some UK based places do all their own flying like Stapleford. They own the airport, so there are no landing fees. So if I lived at home in North London/Essex then their program would certainly work. I don't believe I'd want to live at the airport for a year. I'd go stir crazy. Even with this, I think I'd still want to go the see the USA and get 100 hours P1. It's awesome. See how many airports you can do in a day. My record is 22. But that kind of defeats the point of integrated, doesn't it. The cost of housing should be a major consideration in your choice.

Maybe you should save the 100 hours P1 until after your (f) ATPL. When you realize that there are hundreds of people with exactly the same qualifications and flight time as you.
