Thanks Capt D. At least LH are trying to maintain the route. Cannot be easy for any business route at present. If ABZ can hang onto all their business routes through this prolonged downturn they'll be doing well, even if that means a reduction in capacity/freq as we have already seen; the priority is to keep the route surely.
Perhaps ABZ have changed their focus on to attracting more low cost, given the arrival of Wizz, impending return next year of Ryanair and return for summer 2017 of airBaltic.
It's all hard going anyway, at least until any diversification of the local economy takes place, or we have an influx of inbound tourists from any promotional campaigns for this part of the world. I often wonder how vigorously the area is promoted for tourism (not necessarily the city - who wants to come here?; but the 'shire).
