Overlooking the fact the author needs to urgently resit a GCSE English exam, a very positive press release from Skylive:

We have always had a long term plan and have mentioned from the very start that bringing this airshow back after a 26 years wasn’t a one off and that we would build it bigger & better each year and hopefully get it to the numbers of the past

We listened to all of the feedback of what was good and what was bad from the 2016 event and we have been working on putting that into place for the 2017 show

The most important aspect is obviously the planes what can you see in 2017, we would love to put a full complete website up with all the confirmed planes but we won’t know until early 2017 what planes are guaranteed as the RAF and other forces don’t let us know until this time.

What we can tell you is what we have requested, the RAF element of the 2016 show was a massive crowd pleaser and people have asked for these to come back so we have requested from the RAF The Red Arrows, The Typhoon, BBMF, The Falcons, The Hawk is back displaying in 2017 and the Atlas A400m, we have also been in discussion with the Swiss Airforce and have requested the Patrouille Suisse, The Hornet Display, PC-7 Team and the Super Puma, we are speaking with The Army and the joint helicopter support for the Apache and Chinook displays as well as the Royal Navy

What we can say is that our flying element will be much more in 2017

We are also offering a early bird discount of 10% on all tickets purchased in 2016

All in all 2017 will be Bigger & better
